The Sixth Annual Queen Mary Art Deco Festival aboard the historic ocean liner is scheduled for Labor Day Weekend, September 3- 5, 2010. The Festival, which successfully premiered in 2005, is being presented by the Queen Mary in association with the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles. On Dec. 9, the Long Beach community and visitors are invited for the Queen Mary's annual tree-lighting party starting at 4 p.m. with guests gathering at 7 p.m. to count down as Long Beach Mayor Bob Foster and ship General Manager Uwe Roggenthien light up the holiday tree in what has become a Long Beach holiday tradition. more >
