BOSTON, MA (June 24, 2008) - The Boston Bruins and Delaware North Companies - Boston, operators of the TD Banknorth Garden, announce the promotion of Jen Compton (Mena) to Vice President of Marketing for the Boston Bruins and the TD Banknorth Garden. She had previously been Director of Marketing & PR for the Garden.
In her expanded role, Compton will have marketing oversight of both companies and for the TD Banknorth Garden, responsibilities and title will also include Public Relations. Compton will direct integrated marketing campaigns to support the diverse Boston Bruins and Garden products, including The Premium Club, corporate partnerships, VIP ticketing, family shows and concerts. In her new role, Compton will oversee brand management, advertising, creative services, e-marketing, and grassroots initiatives for the building as well as the club.
"Jen brings a great deal of sports marketing expertise and strategic vision that will provide a broader, more effective role in directing and assessing our individual and combined marketing initiatives," said Amy Latimer, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Boston Bruins and TD Banknorth Garden.
