Badger Pass Ski Area’s Downhill Operations to Open for the Season December 21, 2012

 
YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif., December 19, 2012 – Yosemite National Park’s Badger Pass Ski Area will open its downhill operations on Friday, December 21, 2012. Yosemite’s recent snow storms provided a base depth of 24” at Badger Pass as of December 18. The free shuttle to Badger Pass from Yosemite National Park lodges will begin service on opening date. The Nordic Center offering snowshoeing and cross-country skiing opened for the season on December 15, 2012. Badger Pass Ski Area’s Tubing Hill and Terrain Park will open at a later date as more snow is needed for those winter activities.

Badger Pass Ski Area’s Nordic Center to Open Saturday, December 15

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif., December 14, 2012 – Badger Pass Ski Area begins its cross-country ski and snowshoe services this Saturday, December 15 after recent snow storms dropped more than 12 inches of snow; making excellent terrain conditions for skiers and snowshoers. The rental shop will open at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and light snacks and drinks will be available. Badger Pass is awaiting additional snow to open the downhill and tubing section of the ski area, but more storms are on the way.

Yosemite's Badger Pass Ski Area Announces Special Pricing for Season Passes and Ski Packages

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif., December 13, 2012 – Yosemite National Park’s Badger Pass Ski Area announces new season pass pricing for the 2012-13 season. From now through December 23, 2012, skiers/riders can purchase adult season passes online for $149, which is more than 65 percent off regular rate. Discounted season passes for children are available at $129 for youth (ages 13-17) and $69 for children (ages 7-12). These season pass offers will also be available at Badger Pass starting opening day, which is scheduled for Friday, December 14, 2012 or when conditions permit.
